Frances was a very dear friend, first to me and later to my wife, Jan. She and her family welcomed me into their home for wonderful meals and many great conversations filled with much joy and laughter. It was her warmth and love that made living in New Bern so very special. To me, New Bern has lost a special rose. My gratitude, love and prayers are extended to her family. May God give them Peace and Comfort through the coming days.
